Turismo Merida
This is the official Internet site for the city of Merida, created in four languages by the city government. It requires the Macromedia Flash plug-in too, but it is a very pretty site.

Diario de Yucatan
The leading newspaper for Yucatan State and the city of Merida. It is written in Spanish, but you may be able to understand enough to learn about local events.

Merida Weather
Current weather conditions in Merida with a satellite photograph, along with long-range forecasts. (Although the weather here is so moody, it tends to confound long-range forecasting.)
